Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you use the chat, your messages are processed by our AI system to generate responses. We may store conversation history to provide continuity across sessions for logged-in users. We also collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance. After a message is accepted, new messages written by users, including messages sent without an account, may be automatically analyzed for credible signs of illegal or dangerous activity. Assistant replies are not included in this safety analysis. If the analysis identifies a potential concern, we retain a short, bounded excerpt or message reference, a controlled category, severity, confidence score, short rationale, model/classifier version, time, lifecycle status, and—when applicable—a link to the registered account. Safety alerts do not include passwords, session tokens, authentication data, or uploaded-file contents.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Provide and improve the MindGod AI platform • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset) • Maintain your chat history and account preferences • Automatically screen new user messages for potential abuse, illegal activity, dangerous activity, and platform-security risks • Allow limited administrator review, investigate credible safety concerns, and maintain an audit trail We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use conversation content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
Automated Safety Analysis and Its Limits
Automated safety analysis produces an unverified signal—not proof that wrongdoing occurred. Classifiers can misunderstand context, jokes, quotations, fiction, research, or requests for help, and may produce false positives or miss genuine risks. Potential alerts are available only to the authorized administrator for human review. MindGod does not automatically ban, kick, block, restrict, report, or otherwise punish a user based only on classifier output. Alert review and alert status changes are separate from account actions. Marking an alert reviewed, resolved, or false positive does not itself affect the account. MindGod does not automatically report users or messages to law enforcement or other third parties based only on an automated flag.
Security and Moderation Review
Safety alerts and their details are private to MindGod's authorized sole administrator and are not shown to the affected user, other users, or general staff. The administrator may inspect the minimized alert data and record an alert as reviewed, resolved, or a false positive. Those actions are audited. For registered users only, an alert may link to stored conversation history. Full-history review is read-only and limited to a necessary security, abuse-prevention, or user-safety investigation. The administrator must provide an explicit security or moderation reason before access, and every access is recorded in an audit log. Anonymous alerts do not provide linked account-history access.
Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Account data and conversation history are stored on secured systems and retained while needed to provide the service. We minimize safety-alert content by storing a bounded excerpt or message reference rather than unnecessarily duplicating a full conversation. Scan jobs, unverified alert records, review status, and audit records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, investigation, reliability, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account, conversation history, and associated personal data by emailing admin@mindgod.ai. On a verified request, we delete or de-identify data unless limited retention is necessary to comply with law, protect the service or users, resolve an active security investigation, prevent abuse, or preserve the integrity of required audit records. Backup copies may remain until they cycle out under our normal backup process. Because anonymous activity may not be reliably linkable to a person, please provide enough information for us to locate the relevant data without sending passwords or authentication secrets.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from staying logged in.
Service Providers and International Processing
MindGod uses OpenAI's API to generate AI responses and may use an AI provider to perform tightly constrained safety classification. The text needed for the requested response or safety check is sent to the applicable provider for processing on MindGod's behalf. Providers process data under their own security, retention, and privacy terms and may process it in countries outside your own. Review OpenAI's privacy information at openai.com/privacy. We also use infrastructure providers to host the service, database, and logs. We disclose only the information reasonably necessary for providers to perform those services. We do not authorize service providers to use your conversation content for advertising. We do not use safety alerts to train AI models without explicit consent.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. You may also ask for information about a safety-related review involving your personal data. These rights may be subject to lawful security, fraud-prevention, confidentiality, and legal exceptions. To exercise a right, email admin@mindgod.ai. We may need to verify your identity and account ownership before acting, but will never ask for your password or session token. We will respond within 30 days or explain if local law permits additional time. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
